Delivered by NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner, Reynolds Training, this Level 3 course follows the HSE’s methodology for controlling the risks caused by workplace hazards.
Acquire straightforward, practical safety risk management skills to go beyond risk assessment, to effectively control the risks caused by hazards in the workplace.

Unit RAW1: Managing risks in the workplace
A practical assessment is completed at the end of the course. Learners will be asked to watch a video of a real workplace and complete a risk assessment, identifying how to manage and prioritise the risks present.
❖ Recognise potential hazards and get familiar with available resources that can provide assistance and support.
❖ Assess risks in premises with low to medium risk levels, using simple tools HSE tool.
❖ Evaluate risks in a proportionate and sensible manner.
❖ Identify suitable control measures.
❖ Create a safe and healthy work environment.
❖ Ensure organisations have valuable in-house risk management expertise.
❖ Equip teams with the skills required to carry out risk assessments.
