This unit provides an introduction to transfer systems and how terminals have a range of interconnecting pipework, linking source through to the receiving vessel. These may be permanently fixed pipeline systems interlinking a range of tanks or multi-purpose systems that require routing using spool pieces to direct lines to the correct area.
