The weather’s not the only thing changing at the moment. Come October 1st, 2013, regulations surrounding for the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR) will undergo a makeover.
The Legislation aims to condense and simplify the list of reportable non-fatal injuries, dangerous occurrences and ill-health conditions in workers.
The changes to RIDDOR are designed to improve clarity, helping to make the reporting of incidents as simple as possible, whilst building on the foundations of the current legislation.
Even so, it’s not a total fire sale as parts of the existing legislation will remain. These include:
