Press release: issued 8th October 2012
STAFF at Reynolds Training Services are “ecstatic” to have won accreditation from the UK’s top provider of workplace safety qualifications.
The industrial safety specialist is now delivering the International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety from NEBOSH – the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health.
“We’re ecstatic to have earned this accreditation”, Reynolds Training Services Director, John Reynolds, said from his company’s headquarters at CATCH in Stallingborough.

Mr Reynolds emphasized that the qualification imparted managers, supervisors, offshore and onshore workers with specialist skills and knowledge to enhance performance within their roles.
“The qualification covers a wide breadth of knowledge including hazards inherent in the oil and gas sector, hydrocarbon process safety, fire protection, emergency response, logistics and transport operations.”
Mr Reynolds said the oil and gas industries were potentially hazardous, but that the ITC would play a significant role in maintaining their safety record.
“Giving the right training to people working in the industry paves the way for safer workplaces, regulatory compliance and assurance that your staff meet national and international standards.”
Reynolds Training Services will be working with Hull-based Humberside Offshore Training Association to develop materials necessary for the course.
Mr Reynolds said the partnership brought added value to new and existing clients. “Working with HOTA gives us the expertise to cover the whole production chain from well to forecourt, making the training relevant to all industries on the South Bank.”
Those undertaking the qualification can do so at Reynolds Training Services’ world-class training facilities at CATCH or onsite at their own premises.
Candidates are assessed by written examination.
