This seminar from RTS, provided delegates with an overview of the fire safety regulations, identifying the core responsibilities and duties under the regulatory reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, (RRO).

This was linked to the most recent statistics and underpinned the core requirements of the responsible person, whilst outlining the fundamental aspects that deliver good fire safety focusing on prevention and mitigation this included:

• Training
• Equipment maintenance and testing
• Fire safety awareness
